Welcome Emmalyne Rose!
This morning I woke up to a txt message from my brother in Phoenix: Emmalyne Rose 6lbs 2.5oz, 19.5in. 3:51am 12/5/2007
yay! no pictures yet, but my mom is going to see her this afternoon and send some via phone. I've already knitted her some pink booties and I'm just finishing her hat. I also want to make these, but that will have to be later

Also a new addition (although I'm not sure how permanent yet) is a small grey kitten that everyone at work has dubbed, Eugenia. Yesterday Julie and I were walking back from lunch and the valet's from the parking lot asked us if we wanted a kitten. Apparently she had been hiding under a car the entire way from Eugene to Portland. They thought she might have been under there for as long as 2 days. I said I would take her and get her for now. She's filthy, but seems to be healthy. I think she might be feral, but we'll see how things progress. I haven't bathed her yet, but she's got a quiet place with food, water and a litter box for now at my new apartment (I have her in the bathroom just in case she is feral and is not litter trained). I will post pictures as soon as she is comfortable enough to not hide from me.
Speaking of the new place. I am halfway moved it and it's WONDERFUL! I'm so excited for the new neighborhood and the cute new apartment. Saturday I move all my big stuff, bed, dressers, etc. I'm hoping to get everything else moved in before then and put away.
